Terms of Use
This English version is a translation of the French original, last updated on August 27, 2026. It is provided for your convenience. If the two versions differ, the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms of use (hereinafter the "Terms of Use") define how the Vulata service may be accessed as well as the conditions under which the user may use it.
Vulata is an online service published by Vultek (hereinafter "the publisher") that makes it possible to generate ebooks from a description entered by the user, to edit them in an online editor, then to export them in PDF format.
Creating an account and using the service constitute full and complete acceptance of these Terms of Use.
2. Definitions
Service: the Vulata platform accessible at vulata.com as well as all of its features. User: any natural person or legal entity that has an account on the service. Generated content: any ebook, text, layout or file produced by means of the service. Subscription: the paid plan giving access to the service, the financial terms of which are set out in the Terms of Sale.
3. Access to the service
The service is accessible online, twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week, subject to the interruptions mentioned in Article 9.
Access requires the creation of an account that includes a valid email address as well as a password. The user guarantees the accuracy of the information provided at registration. The user agrees to update it in the event of a change.
The user is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials as well as for any activity carried out from their account. The user informs the publisher without delay of any unauthorized use of which the user becomes aware.
An account is strictly personal. Sharing login credentials with a third party is prohibited.
4. Description of the service
The service allows the user to generate an ebook from a description entered in a form. Content generation relies on artificial intelligence models supplied by a third-party service provider.
The user may then revise the resulting content in an online editor, choose a layout template from among those offered, save their work, then export it in the available formats.
The features of the service may change. The publisher reserves the right to add, modify or remove features, provided that doing so does not substantially alter the nature of the service subscribed to.
5. Nature of content generated by artificial intelligence
The user acknowledges having been informed of the following characteristics, which are inherent in the technology used.
Generated content is produced automatically. It may contain inaccuracies, approximations, erroneous statements or outdated information. The publisher guarantees neither the accuracy nor the completeness nor the relevance of the content produced.
Under no circumstances does generated content constitute legal, medical, financial, tax or professional advice. Any decision made on the basis of generated content is the sole responsibility of the user.
Generations based on closely related descriptions may produce similar content. The publisher guarantees neither the uniqueness nor the originality of the content produced.
It is the user's responsibility to verify, review and correct any generated content before using it, in particular before any distribution, publication or commercialization.
6. Rights in the content
The user retains ownership of the descriptions and texts that they enter into the service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher claims no ownership rights in the content generated by means of the service. The user is free to use, distribute and commercialize it, under their sole responsibility.
The user is informed that it is uncertain, as the law currently stands, whether content produced without creative human intervention qualifies as a work protected by copyright. The publisher does not guarantee that the user can claim copyright in generated content.
The user grants the publisher, solely for the period necessary to provide the service, a limited license to host, store and process their content, for the purpose of running the requested features.
7. Obligations of the user
The user agrees to use the service in compliance with the laws in force as well as with these Terms of Use. In particular, the user agrees not to:
generate, store or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, insulting, hateful, violent or pornographic, that violates human dignity or that is likely to endanger minors
generate content that infringes the rights of third parties, in particular intellectual property rights, the right to one's image or the right to privacy
generate misleading content presented as coming from a third party or intended to deceive the public
circumvent the technical limitations of the service, automate access to it without authorization, extract its data in bulk or disrupt its operation
resell access to the service or make it available to third parties outside the scope of the subscription
The user is solely responsible for the content that they generate as well as for the use that they make of it. The user indemnifies the publisher against any third-party claim based on content that the user may have produced or distributed.
8. Suspension and cancellation
In the event of a breach of these Terms of Use by the user, the publisher may suspend access to the account concerned after formal notice that has remained without effect for eight days. In the event of a serious breach, in particular the generation of manifestly unlawful content, the suspension may take place without prior notice.
The user may cancel their account at any time under the conditions provided for in the Terms of Sale for current subscriptions.
Deletion of the account results in the erasure of the content associated with it within the periods stated in the Privacy Policy. It is the user's responsibility to export their documents before any cancellation.
9. Availability and maintenance
The publisher uses reasonable means to ensure the availability of the service, without being bound by an obligation to achieve a specific result.
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, update or correction operations. The publisher endeavors to inform users of scheduled interruptions of significant duration.
The publisher cannot be held liable for interruptions attributable to the internet network, to the user's equipment, to its technical service providers or to an event of force majeure.
10. Liability
The publisher is responsible for providing the service under the conditions described herein.
The publisher cannot be held liable for the content produced by the user, for the use made of it, for the decisions made on the basis of it or for indirect damages such as a loss of revenue, a loss of customers or damage to reputation.
These provisions do not limit the rights that a user who is a consumer holds under the mandatory provisions of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), in particular the legal guarantees restated in the Terms of Sale.
11. Intellectual property of the publisher
The service, its structure, its interface, its layout templates, its software developments as well as the Vulata brand remain the exclusive property of Vultek. The subscription confers a personal and non-exclusive right to use the service, to the exclusion of any transfer of ownership rights.
12. Personal data
The processing of personal data carried out in connection with the service is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms of Use.
13. Changes to the Terms of Use
The publisher may change these Terms of Use. Users who hold a current subscription are informed by email at least thirty days before the changes take effect. In the event of disagreement, the user may cancel their subscription under the conditions provided for in the Terms of Sale.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms of Use are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the user is invited to contact the publisher at contact@vulta.fr in order to seek an amicable solution. The means of recourse available to the consumer, in particular mediation, are set out in the Terms of Sale.
Failing an amicable resolution, the competent courts are determined in accordance with the applicable rules of procedure.
